Find a bus
Fictional operators, schedules and fares across Sri Lanka. Search runs exactly like the real API: origin, destination and travel date.
My bookings
Confirmed tickets from this browser session, like the authenticated booking lookup the real API provides.

How booking works
The same flow the real Ceylon Bus API enforces, shown end to end with simulated data.
1. Search
Passengers search by origin, destination and date (Asia/Colombo time). Results show operator, departure, arrival, bus type and fare.
2. Seat chart
A 45-seat layout shows what is free. Sold seats can never be selected.
3. Timed hold
Holding seats locks them for 10 minutes with a server-calculated fare. The hold is idempotent, so retries are safe, and only one passenger can win a seat - the API proves this with a 20-caller race test.
4. PayHere checkout
Checkout produces signed PayHere fields. The payment notification is signature-checked and must match the exact held total and currency - a late or mismatched payment can never grab reallocated seats.
5. Ticket
A confirmed booking issues a ticket with a booking reference. The passenger can look it up any time.
